Shailene Woodley is an American actress who was born to Lori and Loni Woodley. She has one younger brother named Tanner. She attended the Valley View Middle School and currently studies at home. She suffers from scoliosis which is a spinal disorder. In her spare time Shailene likes to write scripts and make home movies, add collections to her scrapbook, take pictures and go parasailing, bungee jumping and stunt flying.
Shailene started acting at the age of eight when she appeared in the role of a little girl on Replacing Dad. She then moved on to appear in shows like Crossing Jordan, The O.C., Without a Trace, Everybody Loves Raymond, Jack and Bobby, CSI: NY, Cold Case and My Name is Earl etc. before being selected to play the role of Amy Juergens on The Secret Life of the American Teenager. She has also worked in the film Moola and played the role of Ashley. She has also been nominated for The Young Artist Award twice.
