The Secret Life of the American Teenager would be back in less then a month with its twelfth Episode, The Secret Wedding of the American teenager. I am so delighted that it’s finally coming back. I really miss watching this show. It was a kinda of routine, I always stuck to. No matter where I am, what am I doing, I need to watch this drama. It’s simply fantastic. And now that the show is taking a break, I am enjoying the reruns of the previous episodes by downloading them from this site. Guess what?? Am addicted to the This secret life of the American teenager. Ummm….Reminds me of my teens … Yeahhh!!!

Hi friends! Well, I just wanted to take a peek into the minds of viewers about what they feels about the series The Secret Life of the American Teenager. So I just went through the various reviews that were posted on different sites and what I came to know just astonished me. You know guys; the opinion about the show is quite divided. Although I came across many posts which praised the show and being a fan of the show I felt elated on reading such reviews. They felt that the show beautifully captured the ups and downs in teenage life in a very simple and delicate manner. The show seems to have captured their attention from the very beginning due to the unusual storyline and real life characters.

People also feel that the show has successfully captured the emotion of young teenagers who are suddenly forced into the adult world when they become pregnant leaving behind all the labels that are attached to teenagers. Generally people adore this fabulous show and are never able to get enough of it.

However, there were others who did not agree with our view about the show. They felt the show was really bad and was just another soap opera being aired on the television. Some even felt that the show was a bad influence on the younger generations and should be stopped immediately. I feel that these people should definitely give one more chance to the show. I would also like to tell these people that they have surely underrated the show. I agree that the general approach of the show towards teenage problems might seem familiar. However, we cannot forget the fact that its main focus is on teenage pregnancy, an issue that has not been raised in any other teenage show. I would request them to watch the show with a little more attention and I am sure that they will really find the show interesting and entertaining.

Hey guys! So our favorite show The Secret Life of the American Teenager is in news again. This time it is regarding the star performer on the show Molly Ringwald. Molly who has been playing the role of Anne on the show was recently seen in a new avatar. Yes guys, the versatile actress took a break from acting to take the centre stage at a jazz club. Molly, who has been passionate about music since her childhood, has earlier recorded a jazz album with her father and his group which is called the Fulton Street Jazz Band. Molly gave performance at the redwhite+bluezz jazz club in Pasadena, California, in the mid of November. She definitely has won the hearts of millions with her acting and I am sure she would have done equally well had she chosen music as her profession. As per the response she got for her performance at the Jazz club, she is really a talented singer. Great going Molly and hope you have many more musical shows in the future!

Molly has been one playing the role of one of my most liked characters Anne on The Secret Life of the American Teenager. I like Anne because she does not snub her daughter when she becomes pregnant after a one night stand. She, in fact, tries to understand her situation and gives emotional support to Amy, who is going through a lot. The series has not only brought our attention to one of the burning issues of modern society, it has also taught us a new way to look at it. The characters of the series all seem to be from amongst us and hence make us feel more related to each one of them. Although many critics may not agree with me I think it is a great show and which deals with an important issue in teenage life. I am eagerly waiting for the start of the second part of the first season and hope there will be many more seasons to come.

I know it still some time before the show actually resumes telecast, but believe me it is not too far away. So I thought that while you are waiting for the show to restart I should tell you something about what to expect in the upcoming season. Well, to start with, Amy and Ben will go for a secret wedding with the support of their friends. Anne will pester Amy who will be forced to take a drastic step. The relationship between Grace and Ricky will become more physical. Amy will get a baby shower while Grace is in for a surprise. Ricky will try to woo back Amy while she and Ben will come to a decision about the baby. Pooh! seems like a season full of excitement and fun. What say guys, aren’t you already too eager to watch the show?

Well, I know there must be a whole lot of issues going through your mind now that you have got a sneak peak into the next part. You must definitely be wondering about what will be Anne’s reaction to Amy’s marriage. What decision has Amy made against her mother? Will Grace’s parents accept her relationship with Ricky? The Secret Life of the American Teenager is a family drama which deals with the issue of teenage pregnancy. The series created by Brenda Hampton premiered on the ABC Network on 1^st July 2008. The series revolves around the life of six teenagers who are trying to discover themselves and find out what they are capable of doing as they face the problems and issues of everyday life. The main storyline revolves around very smart and talented fifteen year old Amy Juergens who becomes pregnant after a one night stand with the school band’s drummer Ricky Underwood. Although she has the full support of her best friends Madison and Lauren, she does not know how to break the news to her future boyfriend Ben Boykewick. Additional story lines that are linked to the main plot show Grace promising her parents that she will remain a virgin until her marriage which upsets her boyfriend Jack. Also Adrian and Ricky enjoy a nonchalant relationship. The series is running in its first season and is divided into two parts. The series has been received well among the audience and has got rare reviews.

The series has been also appreciated for its real characters that are drawn from all sections of society including single parent households to children who have been adopted. The series also won The Teen Choice Award for Choice Summer TV Show during its first season only. The first part of the season consisting of 11 episodes was telecast till the 9^th September 2008. The second part of the season supposed to have twelve more episodes is to resume telecast on 5^th January 2009.
