Mooly Ringwald of “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” got two guests in her life. They are her newly born twin babies. She has never been seen such happy.  “You get up with one of the babies and feed and change that one and get the baby back to sleep, and the other wakes up, and then you feed and change that one. Well the DVD was released on 30th December by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment. The show that has already won the Teen Choice Award for Teen Choice Summer TV Show in its premiere season is now available in a three disk set which contains all the eleven episodes aired in 2008. The DVD also includes a song download of It’s Over from chart topping artist Jesse McCartney. The DVD set is priced at $39.99 (U.S.) and has on-set peek at the cast.

However I personally feel that the DVD is really shabby is only aimed at preparing the viewers for the next part of the first season which is going to start airing just after a few more days. It does not boast of any additional feature like cast interviews, soundtracks etc. and is just a back to back package of the first eleven episodes. So guys if you listen to me, it is better to watch the episodes online on this website rather than wasting your money and efforts on dilapidated disk set. So I just went through the various reviews that were posted on different sites and what I came to know just astonished me. You know guys; the opinion about the show is quite divided. Although I came across many posts which praised the show and being a fan of the show I felt elated on reading such reviews. They felt that the show beautifully captured the ups and downs in teenage life in a very simple and delicate manner. The show seems to have captured their attention from the very beginning due to the unusual storyline and real life characters.

People also feel that the show has successfully captured the emotion of young teenagers who are suddenly forced into the adult world when they become pregnant leaving behind all the labels that are attached to teenagers. Generally people adore this fabulous show and are never able to get enough of it.

However, there were others who did not agree with our view about the show. They felt the show was really bad and was just another soap opera being aired on the television. Some even felt that the show was a bad influence on the younger generations and should be stopped immediately. I feel that these people should definitely give one more chance to the show. I would also like to tell these people that they have surely underrated the show. I agree that the general approach of the show towards teenage problems might seem familiar. However, we cannot forget the fact that its main focus is on teenage pregnancy, an issue that has not been raised in any other teenage show. I would request them to watch the show with a little more attention and I am sure that they will really find the show interesting and entertaining.
